- 1 Nikkor VR 10-30mm f/3.5-5.6 (35mm: 27-81mm)
- 1 Nikkor VR 30-110mm f/3.8-5.6 (35mm:81-297mm)
- 1 Nikkor VR 10mm f/2.8 (35mm: 27mm)
- 1 Nikkor VR 10-100mm f/4.5-5.6 (35mm: 27-270mm) power zoom

Nikon today has unveiled the J1 and the V1, the company’s first cameras in the growing mirrorless camera segment. They feature a trim and compact body, 10.1MP CMOS sensor, a Hybrid AF system that combines both phase and contrast detect autofocus sensors (and is claimed to be the world’s fastest AF system), full resolution shooting with tracking autofocus at up to 10fps, NEF, JPEG and NEF+JPEG shooting, ISO 100-3200 (plus Hi-1), 1080p/30fps movie capture (plus reduced-resolution video capture at up to 1200fps) and promised overall performance that emphasizes speed of operation. Accompanying the new cameras are four dedicated lenses in the new 1 Nikkor lens system.
The centrepieces of the new Nikon 1 system are the J1 and V1. They are the largely the same, except for extras found on the V1: a 1.4 million pixel electronic viewfinder, mechanical shutter (which allows for a higher 1/250 flash sync, compared to the J1’s 1/60), accessory port and stereo microphone input and compatibility with the 1 system’s SB-N5 Speedlight and GP-N100 GPS accessory. The V1 also accepts a different battery, the EN-EL15 (the same as powers the D7000). The four lenses are:
The Nikon J1 is slated to ship October 20 in a kit with the 1 Nikkor VR 10-30mm f/3.5-5.6 for US$649.95. The Nikon V1 is slated to ship at the same time, in a kit with the 1 Nikkor VR 10-30mm f/3.5-5.6 for US$899.95.
